Today, I'm going to introduce you to the hotel I stayed at during my trip to New York. New York is a world-class city and one of the dream destinations for many people. But the hotel prices in New York are very expensive, and it's not easy to find a hotel with a good location and facilities. I stayed at the Conrad New York Downtown Hotel for 3 nights, and I had a very satisfying stay. So I want to tell you more about this hotel.

The Conrad New York Downtown Hotel is located in an area called Battery Park City, which is at the southern tip of Manhattan. This is a place close to Wall Street and One World Trade Center, the center of finance and business in New York. Right in front of the hotel is the Hudson River, so you can enjoy a beautiful river view from your room. I especially liked falling asleep while watching the lights sparkling on the river at night.

It takes about 10 minutes on foot from the hotel to the 9/11 Memorial and One World Observatory. This is a place where you can feel the history and symbolism of New York, and I highly recommend you to visit it. I was able to see the whole view of New York from the One World Observatory, and I felt sadness and friendship at the 9/11 Memorial, remembering the tragedy of that day.

You have to walk a bit to get to the subway station from the hotel. The closest station is Chambers Street station, which takes about 7 minutes on foot. You can take lines 1, 2, and 3 from this station. Other subway stations are Cortlandt Street station and World Trade Center station. You can take lines A, C, E, R, and W from these stations. I mainly used these stations to go to tourist attractions such as Times Square, Central Park, Grand Central Terminal, etc.

The Conrad New York Downtown Hotel operates with all-suite rooms. A suite room is a structure where the bedroom and living room are separated, which makes the space spacious and comfortable. I booked a suite room with a double bed, which had a king size bed, flat-screen TV, closet, safe, iron, etc. in the bedroom. The living room had a sofa, coffee table, desk and chair, minibar and refrigerator, coffee maker, etc. Also, free Wi-Fi was provided in the room.

The interior of the room was modern and sophisticated. The colors were mainly white, gray, and black, which made it clean and luxurious. The furniture was also simple and curved in design, making good use of the space. I especially liked the bed so much. The bed was soft and cushiony, and the bedding was clean and fluffy. I slept well every night.

The bathroom of the room was clean and spacious. The bathroom had a bathtub and shower booth, toilet, sink, etc. The water pressure was good and the hot water came out well. The bathroom amenities included shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, lotion, soap, toothbrush, cotton swab, etc. The bathroom amenities were from a brand called Aromatherapy Associates, which smelled good.

The lobby of the hotel was large and fancy. The lobby had a front desk and a concierge desk. The staff were all friendly and professional. The check-in and check-out were fast and smooth, and they responded well to inquiries or requests. 

I am a Hilton Gold member so I received a welcome drink and breakfast for free. The welcome drink was available at the lobby bar, and breakfast was served buffet style at the restaurant on the second floor.

The hotel has various facilities. On the 6th floor there is a fitness center and a business center. The fitness center has state-of-the-art equipment, towels, water, etc. The business center has computers and printers etc. On the top floor of the hotel the 16th floor there is a rooftop bar. Here you can enjoy various drinks and snacks with a river view.

## Surroundings of Conrad New York Downtown Hotel

There are many restaurants and shops around the hotel. Right next to the hotel there is a park called Battery Park City.

This park is a space created along the Hudson River with walking paths bike paths playgrounds dog parks etc. I enjoyed walking in this park and enjoying the scenery and air of New York.

Near the park there are cafes and restaurants such as Starbucks, Shake Shack, Le Pain Quotidien etc. I bought coffee from Starbucks and sat on a park bench.

It takes about 15 minutes on foot from the hotel to Brooklyn Bridge. This bridge is one of the symbols of New York connecting Manhattan and Brooklyn. I walked across this bridge. The view of New York from the bridge was really cool. Especially at sunset, you can see the sunset coloring the bridge and the river red. I tried hard to capture this scene with my camera.

You can easily go to other tourist attractions by taxi or subway from the hotel. I visited places such as Times Square, Central Park, Grand Central Terminal, The Metropolitan Museum of Art American Museum of Natural History, Empire State Building, Rockefeller Center, etc. on this trip. Each place had its own charm and atmosphere of New York.

## Review of Conrad New York Downtown Hotel

I had a really happy time staying at the Conrad New York Downtown Hotel for 3 nights. Everything about the hotel was satisfactory such as location, facilities, service, surrounding environment, etc.

I highly recommend this hotel to anyone planning a trip to New York. I also want to stay at this hotel again when I go to New York next time.
